It's been awhile...

It has been a year and 4 months since I have posted to my blog and it was a tough year for me, both emotionally and physically.  Fortunately things are getting better, slowly but surely.and I have gotten back to painting, of which very little was done in the last year.

For the time being, I have gone back to using oils although I expect to go back to pastels in the next couple weeks for a few projects.  I am currently working on a series of dog paintings that have been inspired by trips to the dog beach this past summer.  Here is one completed painting, and one WIP
